LIX is naturally involved in teaching at the École polytechnique, particularly in the engineering track. Thus, at least 20 permanent members of LIX are also contracted as teachers or as researcher-teachers (enseignant-chercheurs), full time or part-time. A comparable number of members of LIX participate in teaching at the École (from L3 to M2 levels) as adjuncts.
