Professor Jie Tang from the Department of Computer Science and Technology in Tsinghua University visited our team and presented his recent work on social network theories and data mining methodologies.

Professor Jie Tang is currently an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tsinghua University. He obtained his Ph.D. in DCST of Tsinghua University in 2006.

This AXA Chair event (14/10/2015) attracted more than 80 participants. Our industrial key note speakers “seduced” the audience with their visionary claims and thoughts.

The event was followed by a cocktail reception where the students and academics were able to interact with the key note speakers and the other industrial people present. The result was gratefully appreciated by all parties.
