We participated to the discussion of the teaching & AI organized at Polytechnique. Vicky Kalogeiton, in collaboration with Michalis Vazirgiannis animated the discussion and presented a demonstration of the use of generative AI such as Chat-GPT in teaching context.

We received the good news that the ANR proposal MultiForm will be funded. In collaboration with collegues from IRIT Toulouse (Loic Barthe) and Loria (Cedric Zanni), we will develop novel field-based representation for complex 3D model animation.

Theo Cheynel is joinging VISTA to start his PhD on "Video-based Generation and Edition of 3D Animated Humanoid Character Preserving Physical Constraints". His PhD is an industrial collaboration with Kinetix.

We will receive Nefeli Andreou in our team for three months from September the 21th to work on learning based character animation. Nefeli is a PhD student from the University of Cyprus, and a Early Stage Researcher part of the European ITN project CLIPE.
