I am an assistant professor (maître de conférences) in the Computer Science department at Ecole Polytechnique in France with a CNRS chaire d'excellence and the Jean Marjoulet chair from Ecole Polytechnique. I am a member of the LIX research laboratory of Ecole Polytechnique and an associate member of the Geometrica team at INRIA.

My research is primarily related to geometric (3d) shape analysis and processing with emphasis on non-rigid shape matching and comparison. In the past, I have worked on methods for dynamic registration, non-rigid shape-matching, shape comparison and retrieval, symmetry detection, among other things. I'm also very interested in image processing, computer graphics and computer vision in general. You can find some of my work on the Publications page.

NEW (October 2016):  I am actively looking for Postdocs and motivated PhD students, interested in joint analysis of images and 3d shapes. Please consult this announcement for a description and write to me directly if you are interested in applying.
