Szilvia Lestyán

About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher working on a co-operative project on privacy between the Inria team Comète and Ined in France. I hold a PhD in Informatics and MSc degrees in applied mathematics. Alongside this, I am developing a new interdisciplinary research project that investigates analogies between AI failures and psychiatric dysfunctions, drawing on clinical models and philosophical theories of normativity to better classify and interpret risks in artificial intelligence systems. I am currently seeking a host institution for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. I am particularly interested in the privacy and security of AI, the regulation of emerging technologies and the philosophy of psychiatry and health.
