For a long time, algebraic topology has been regarded as an abstract branch of mathematics, remote from applications. This view is no longer correct: In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in potential applications of algebraic topology to various areas of computer science and engineering. It is the aim of the conference to gather researchers with an active interest in the interplay between this branch of mathematics and neighbouring disciplines in order to foster and further cooperation. The areas of focus for this conference include, but are not limited to, the following.
Semaphore Pen Sphere Satellite Computers Spaceship
concurrency theory rewriting systems computational
algebraic topology
visualization
and image analysis
distributed computing sensor networks
