Ingredients for two people: - a pound of frozen peas (the Hannover sweet peas are particularly good) - olive oil - parsley - a clove of garlic - salt - a teaspoon of sugar - half a glass of white wine, or Brandy, or dry Marsala - butter (optional) Preparation: Mince the garlic. Fry the garlic slightly in olive oil. Add the peas (no need to defrost). Add salt. Cook on medium heat for about ten minutes, stirring from time to time. Add the wine and the sugar. Complete cooking until all wine has evaporated. Add some minced leaves of parsley, and a bit of butter if you wish. Also you can add some more minced garlic at this point, if you like the taste of fresh garlic (I love it). Stir and serve. Enjoy!
