LaTeX users belonging to an INRIA Equipe
LIX letterhead personalized for users belonging to an INRIA Equipe.
It contains personal information, the INRIA logo and the project name.
Here is an example
of how the letter should look like.
- Save this file
into letterLIX.cls
- Save this file into main.tex
- Save this file into figs.tar.gz,
then gunzip and un-tar it so to obtain the folder figs
- These files are for the equipe "Comète". If you are in a
different equipe, then you should replace figs/cometelogo.eps with
the logo of your equipe,
and in letterLIX.cls, change the reference to "figs/cometelogo.eps"
accordingly.
- Personalize the informations in main.tex (name, telephone number, etc)
- Write your letter using main.tex as a template, and process it
in the usual way.
Note 1: In case your personal info take too much space and cause the
footer look too crowded, you can reduce the font by replacing
\scriptsize with \tiny in letterLIX.cls (two times).
Note 2: The above works well with the
laser printer felix, but when using color printer iris
there is the problem that the last line (LIX address) does not
get printed. The reason is that the footer for INRIA equipes is rather big and
in iris the page is a
little bit shifted downwards, so lines that are too close to the bottom
are left out of the printing area. I don't know if it is possible to
change the parameters of iris. In any case, one way around it is to
shift the page upwards so to compensate. This
can be done at the moment of the ps
creation, with the command:
dvips -O -0cm,-0.2cm main.dvi -o main.ps
