Research

The activities of LIX are organized into three areas: algorithmics, networking, and formal methods.

LIX has a particular interest in developing competence in the multiple facets of network communications, ranging from the treatment of signals, the coding and routing of communications, the distribution and mobility of computation, and the safety and engineering of protocols.

Since mobile networks will be a central component of the future world of embedded systems, lab members have put a particular stress on the development of reliable and effective communication systems in mobile networks.
