In this context and supported by the DIGITEO LEVETONE chair grant (2010-2013), we conduct research in the area of Learning from Big Graph and Text. As a concluding event of the project (following the relevant opening event in 2011 – DIGITEO Workshop on Web Mining) we organize a single day workshop entitled Data Science in the Big Data Era (DSBDE) on July 17, 2013 in Paris.

The DIGITEO – “Web Mining” workshop is organized by M. Vazirgiannis and P. Senellart in the context of the DIGITEO Chair “LETEVONE” project. The workshop will bring together students, researchers and practitioners interested in the state of the art for Machine Learning and Data Mining methods for Web data (web logs, graphs, social networks). The topics of the workshop are classified along the following topics: Web log pattern analysis, Graph Mining for communities evaluation, Privacy issues in Web mining & personalization, Ad-hoc text analytics.
