Uli

Welcome

This is the homepage of Uli Fahrenberg, mathematician / computer scientist. It is deliberately kept short to be (hopefully) more easily maintainable.

I am a researcher at LIX, École polytechnique. I am a member of the Cosynus team and of the Chaire ISC. Previously, I have been a postdoc at Irisa Rennes, and yet earlier, assistant professor at the department of computer science at Aalborg University, and PhD student / research assistant at the department of mathematical sciences at the same university. I have a PhD in mathematics from Aalborg University.

Research

My research is in the area of real-time, hybrid, and general quantitative systems and interfaces. I keep an up-to-date list of publications.

I am also interested in directed algebraic topology and its applications in concurrency theory and in categorical foundations for theoretical computer science.
