Bioinformatics is my main research interest.
More specifically, my work is at the interface between (analytic) combinatorics and
biological applications. I am also interested in algorithmics and in
particular in pattern matching.
During the period 2000-2002, I have been CNRS researcher
at the
Laboratory Statistics and Genomes of the Genopole of Evry.
From January 1998 to June 1999, I have been a postdoc visiting the TBI
group (Theoretical Bioinformatics)
at the DKFZ (German Cancer
Research Center), Heidelberg (Germany).
Most of this group moved to the Computational
Molecular Biology group at the MPI (Max-Planck Institute
for Molecular Genetics), Berlin.
