Martina Cerulli

About me

I defended my PhD thesis at LIX on December 13, 2021. I was a Marie Curie ITN MINOA PhD at LIX - École Polytechnique (see here the MINOA website). My supervisors were Prof. Leo Liberti and Prof. Claudia D’Ambrosio and my research project was about Bilevel Optimization and Applications.
I spent 3 months at Department of Mathematics in Trier University, working with Prof. Martin Schmidt on bilevel programming with ACOPF constraints at the lower level, and 3 months at Department of Corporate Research and Technology of Siemens AG in Munich, as guest scientist.

Modeling real world problems using Mathematical Programming
Developing and implementing new solution algorithms for (Mixed Integer) Bilevel Non Linear Optimization and their application to: aircraft conflict resolution, ACOPF, power network design..
