Summer 2007 at LIX

During the summer of 2007, a number of people will be visiting the Parisfal team at LIX. This page should evolve to match changing schedules.

The plan will be to have several, informal talks planned. As they are planned, we will list them here. Other notable events are also listed.

Brigitte and Sam have spoken on Tuesday.
The first meeting of the INFER project is planned for 21 June. The program is available.
21 June: ``Fete de la Musique''. This is a really nice event with music being played in public places throughout France. Walking the streets of Paris on this date is a real delight.
22 - 23 June, Colloquium in Honor of Gérard Huet, École Normale Supérieure, Paris.
25 - 29 June: RDP 2007: Federated Conference on Rewriting, Deduction, and Programming. To be held in the Paris campus of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM).
29 June: TPR: Workshop on Type theory, proof theory, and rewriting. To be held at in Room 0C2, Lab PPS (Preuves, Programmes et Systèmes), 175 rue du Chevalleret, 75013 Paris.

The following people are either confirmed or tentative visitors.

Alessio Guglielmi plans to visit the week of 18-22 June.

Samuli Heilala, an MSc student from McGill will be visiting LIX the week of 18 June and will remain in Paris the week of 25 June for RDP.

Chuck Liang plans to visit during the entire month of June.

Gopalan Nadathur arrives 19 June and leaves 3 July.

Brigitte Pientka will be visiting LIX the week of 18 June and will remain in Paris the week of 25 June for RDP.

Zachary Snow will be visiting LIX as an intern during 17 May to the end of July. Snow is from Nadathur's team at the University of Minnesota.

Several local members of Parsifal will be around LIX for much of this time. In particular:

Joëlle Despeyroux will be visiting LIX 30 May - 1 June and 20 - 22 June.

Dale Miller will be absent 5-7 June.

Kaustuv Chaudhuri is a Post Doc in Parsifal until Nov 2007.
