Summer 2006 at LIX

During the summer of 2006, a number of people will be visiting the Parisfal team at LIX. This page should evolve to match changing schedules.

Scheduled talks

• 8 June: Frank spoke on the inverse method for linear logic.
• 9 June: Dale spoke on his ppdp06 paper.
• 12 June: Alwen spoke on "A Logic for reasoning about generic judgments".
• 13 June: Andrew and David presented the Bedwyr system.
• 14 June: Alberto spoke on co-induction in Twelf;
• 15 June: Frank speaks on his work on logic and authentication.

Visitors

Andrew Gacek, a PhD student from the University of Minnesota, will be on a two months internship starting 29 May.

Jim Lipton is tentatively planning to visit 26-27 June.

Alberto Momigliano will visit 11 - 18 June.

Gopalan Nadathur will be visiting during the dates 25 June - 2 July.

Frank Pfenning will be visiting the months of June and July.

Brigitte Pientka will be visiting 29 May - 18 June.

Alwen Tiu will be visiting 5-18 June.

Locals

Several local members of Parsifal will be around LIX for much of this time. In particular:

David Baelde, PhD student LIX, will be generally around.

Joëlle Despeyroux will be visiting LIX during 14-16 and 27-29 June.

Dale Miller will be absent 19-22 June and starting 1 July until the end of August.
