This workshop is intended to explore new problems and future
trends in algorithms. Some emphasis will be put on security
and fault-tolerance concerns. The workshop is organized around
the lectures of 11 distinguished speakers and extensive discussion
sessions.

The workshop will be held in the Centre International de
Rencontres Mathématiques (CIRM), at Luminy near Marseille,
on the outskirts of the Calanques natural park. The old
Luminy mansion houses the CIRM, which is a conference center
for meetings of high scientific level mainly devoted to
mathematics and theoretical computer science. The CIRM offers
many facilities, including conference rooms, a library, computers,
and audio and video facilities. For a detailed description of

FEES:

The workshop registration fees are 800 FF (you can consult
the tables at http://www.xe.net/currency/table.html for exchange
rates). Please note that the registration fees do *not*
include full board accommodation which should be directly payed 
to the CIRM during the workshop. Thanks to the CIRM support, local 
expenses (lodging and all meals) are only 282 FF or 328 FF
per day for a double or a single room, respectively.
